Dr. Robert Putnam, presented by the Opportunity Task Force

  • Booth Playhouse at Blumenthal Performing Arts 130 N Tryon St Charlotte, NC, 28202 United States (map)

Did you know Charlotte was ranked 50th out of the 50 largest cities for upward economic mobility (and 97th out 100 cities)? The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Opportunity Task Force was created to develop recommendations that can broaden access to economic opportunity for all residents of Charlotte-Mecklenburg.

The fourth speaker in the Task Force series  brings author and Professor of Public Policy at Harvard University, Dr. Robert Putnam, to discuss the state of opportunity in America. Join us for an informative, relevant dialogue on this topic.  Putnam is the author of Our Kids: The American Dream in Crisis and has been and adviser to Presidents Clinton, Bush and Obama.

This event is free and open to the public, but an RSVP is required, as seating is limited.  Please  contact: Eli Kahn, ekahn@fftc.org regarding tickets.
